Current research interests

  • Evaluate the exposome of marine organisms to emerging contaminants (mainly thyroid disruptors, metallic nanoparticles and microplastics) and their biological effects
  • Develop novel analytical methods to characterize environmental pollutants, with a particular focus on ultra high performance chromatography coupled to fluorimetry and mass spectrometry
  • Promote mass spectrometry based ecotoxicological metabolomics with the goals to better understand the mechanistic basis of pollutant effects and to discover novel markers of exposure or effect.
